The Luke Brueck Seeley Quartet is a young group based in East Anglia, with its members hailing from Ipswich, Colchester, Cambridge, Norwich and Ipswich respectively. Featuring Olivia Hughes on trombone, Dom Howard on guitar, George Mooney on electric bass, and Luke Brueck Seeley on drums, the four met at Aldeburgh Young Musicians, a Centre for Advanced Training based at the Snape Maltings Concert Hall, and have been playing together for about a year. They are all most interested in and most enjoy playing jazz but also enjoy playing other genres such as progressive metal, classical and funk in their various respective other groups. The group is most influenced by the likes of Max Roach, Art Blakey, Paul Chambers, Chris Potter, Dave Holland, Joe Henderson and Shabaka Hutchings to name a few.
